brian Omondi otieno
Brian is an aspiring third year student of Mwangaza Art School. Brian has had a passion for art since primary level and continued that passion through secondary and college levels. Brian participates in both visual and performing arts. He is now acting in a Shakespeare play for the first time and enjoys it very much. In visual art, Brian focuses on abstract painting because that is where his oasis of creative ideas originates. Brian's vision as an artist is to achieve his dream of identifying and rekindling untapped talents in the society among the less fortunate.
Barbara
As a young girl, Barbara grew up with a passion for art. Barbara loves painting and the media she loves most are oil and acrylic. Barbara joined Mwangaza in 2011 and is planning to study computer graphics. She also hopes to become a filmmaker someday and a famous painter. robert s. ochieng
Robert is a young man with a great passion for art. Robert has been doing art since he was a child and grew up with a great desire for the subject. Robert studied art in primary and secondary school and is now continuing at the college level. In college Robert has also started performing arts which he really enjoys. Robert looks forward to becoming a graphic designer and an actor.
nick, a.k.a. nikomambo
Nick was born in Koru, Nyanza Province, and brought up in Nairobi, the capitol of Kenya. Nick started paining after high school, though he realized his talent in art at the tender age of six. After high school, Nick decided to join Mwangaza where he is currently taking his diploma course in art and design. Nick loves doing all kinds of art, especially painting and handicrafts. He also enjoys watercolor. After graduating, Nick wants to relocate to Nairobi, open a stall, and find a job as an art instructor. Nick is currently working on his website. irene a. obote
Irene is a young, aspiring artist whose dream to become an artist was tapped and nurtured in primary and secondary school. While in primary school, Irene participated in various school events such as the kiwi shoe competition among others. Irene is a third year student at Mwangaza and participates in both visual and performing arts. Irene specializes in graphics, design, and abstracts. This is Irene's first time to act in a Shakespeare play. She is cast as Katherina in The Taming of the Shrew. Irene's vision is to be the best, most renowned graphic designer.
samwel edwin oluoch otieno
Samwel is a first year student at Mwangaza. Samwel's passion for art started in primary school. Though he never took the subject in secondary school, Samwel believed he had the talent in spirit. Samwel became interested in art when he first printed his own t-shirt and friends and relatives loved it. Samwel then got into the business of printing t-shirts with the help of his mother and uncle. Samwel later decided to join art school to improve his talent and to reach his dreams of opening the eyes of different societies. Samwel is also participating in a Shakespeare play for the first time. He has found it difficult but enjoyable with friends, teachers, and fellow actors who lift him up when he falls.
wycliffe mutata
Wycliffe is a hardworking, ambitious, aspiring artist whose art works have been exhibited in Nairobi at the Village Market and the Nairobi National Museum. Wycliffe has had a passion for art since he was a child and participated in events such as the kiwi shoe shine competition in primary school. Wycliffe is a third year student at Mwangaza. He is both a performing and a visual artist. This is his first time participating in a Shakespeare play and he really loves it. In visual art, Wycliffe specializes in both abstract and realism. His vision is to be an established artist who will be ready to give back to the community through services such as mural paintings.

Brian is a third year student at Mwangaza. He joined in 2010. Although Brian never had a chance to do art in school, he did pursue art on a personal level. When he had a chance to join art school, he was really happy. Brian specializes in weaving and carving, which he taught himself, and in painting he specializes in expressionism. Currently, he is on the path of becoming a fine artist. His vision is to have a solo exhibition at the MOMA.
ronald odhiambo owino
Ronald is the second boy in his family. His talent in art started a long time ago in his primary level. In secondary school, he did not take any subjects in art. Ronald dreams of becoming one of the great artists and to help young children that have talent in art not to relax with the talent but to do more practice. Ronald was brought to Mwangaza in 2010 by another artist. His vision is to become one of the greatest artists and to have a school where he can help those who have a talent in art. Ronald is in his third year at Mwangaza and specializes in portraits and landscapes.
Victor ochieng
Victor is a young student of Mwangaza art school. Victor loves art and has a lot of hope and faith that one day he will prosper in the field of art and make his name greater like those of other well known artists. Victor participates in visual and performing arts and enjoys both of them because they are fun. Art wants daily practice and making lots of lines. Victor's vision is to be an artist and to help teenagers and many others discover their talents and how to use them appropriately, not only in art bu also others because there are many talents out there.
